Well, Jungle Rapids may just be the answer!

Jungle Rapids Family Fun Park has a seasonal water park, go karts, laser tag, miniature golf, arcade, rock climbing wall, bumper cars, mini bowling, and kids indoor playground. Our family has been visiting Jungle Rapids for over ten years and has so many fun things to do with kids in Wilmington no matter what the weather or season!

Jungle Rapids Water Park is Awesome!

The first and most obviously allure to Jungle Rapids is the water park. We personally love it because it is small enough that we don’t feel overwhelmed yet big enough to entertain all day long! Lifeguards are a plenty and everything has always been very clean.

The wave pool and lazy river at Jungle Rapids are popular choices among my crew but they also love the water slides.

With the Kiddie Splash Area for kids under eight, two body water slides, and four other water rides, there are options for all ages! We’ve progressed through all age levels of things to do and my kids still love going! As a Mom of a ten and thirteen year old, I love to be able to set up a “home base” so they can venture off together and come back to check in with me after a couple of rides. Lounge chairs have always been available although the chairs in the shade do get chosen first. The also do have cabanas you can rent but I feel like those prices are ridiculous.

Jungle Rapids Water Park Tips

• Everyone who goes into the water park must pay admission.
• Children under 48 inches must wear life jackets.
• Children under 2 years old are free with a paying adult.
• Lounge chairs, floats, and life jackets are available in the water park.
• You can’t bring in food or drinks, but there are two different places where you can buy food.
• We usually try to go on a weekday- it’s not as busy as the weekends.

Jungle Rapids is our go-to for mini golf in Wilmington NC! The course here isn’t full of super fancy trains and volcanoes, but instead full of lush greenery. The course is fun and challenging for our family. There are quite a few stairs throughout the course, but there are also several benches and shady areas.

Jungle Rapids Has Some of the Best Go Karts in Wilmington NC

I feel the need, the need for speed!

Go karts are always fun! Just keep in mind at Jungle Rapids you have to be at least 56 inches tall and 12 years old to drive!

Wondering what to do in Wilmington on a rainy day?

Jungle Rapids has a huge indoor area to occupy those restless kids! My kids are partial to the arcade and laser tag, but they also have a rock climbing wall, mini bowling, bumper cars and an area for younger children to play!

And they Have a Ton More Kid’s Activities at Jungle Rapids!

The “Kids Jungle” is tons of fun for ages eight and under! With ball pits and bouncy areas, this is a perfect play space to get all that energy out in a safe and clean environment! Children do have to wear socks to go in the Kids Jungle.

Jungle Rapids is also an excellent choice for a birthday party in Wilmington! We’ve never personally had a birthday party here, but my kids are always asking to bring friends.
